Q Who employs the staff?
A The Extra Mile Care Company employs all of its’ staff directly. This way we can monitor their work, provide insurance and maintain the highest quality service
Q What happens if my carer is absent?
A We will do everything we can to provide an appropriate replacement and will keep you informed at all times
Q Can they cook?
A If cooking is a part of the work carried out, we will find you a carer who knows the difference between a fishcake and a fondue. We also provide cookery courses for some of our staff
Q Will they clean my house?
A Care staff are employed to take care of your needs. If those needs include cleaning, then they will undertake light domestic duties.
Q Do I need to provide meals for my carer?
A Only if they are a live in carer. You should either provide the food or sufficient funds for the carer to purchase their own

Q What if I don’t get on with the carer?
A We will endeavour to match the right care for your needs. If for some reason, you feel that it is not working, we will find a replacement for you.
Q Do I have to pay for the initial assessment?
A No.This is a free, no obligation assessment. We will visit you at home, in hospital or a care home to discuss your needs. From that, you decide if you wish to proceed
Q Do I have to sign up for a minimum number of visits?
A No. Your care package is entirely up to you. Whether you want 4 visits a day, a live in carer, overnight support or one visit a month, we are there to give you what you want.
